Greetings, Valley View Rotary family and friends!!!
Thank you to Shari Laffredi for stepping in to present an update on the Rotary International Open World Program and all the friendships, fun and learning that await! This is a very exciting initiative for Valley View Rotary and for the Coulee Region! Thank you also to Katie for taking charge in my absence.
How cool is technology to be putting this newsletter together as I sit up high in the sky and have the connection to make it happen :) While we had so much fun, it will be nice to return. A special thank you to one of our newer members, Matt Boshka for his guidance and abilities to make this an amazing trip that we are planning to repeat in the near future!
Please join us this week to hear from Earth Kateudomsup as he shares more about his culture and the fun that he is having in the Coulee Region this school year. Also...
Paul Harris Presentations this Week

This new program can help Rotary and Rotaract members build the skills they'll need to take on leadership roles. This online program presents key leadership skills and is available through Rotary's Learning Center only for members.
In this program, members will learn to:

- Create a positive team environment

- Build consensus and inclusive environments
- Recognize the strengths in others
- Understand, manage, and resolve conflict
- Create and deliver effective speeches and presentations
This program also features questions that participants can discuss in a community forum and assignments that let them apply what they've learned. Participants identify their leadership strengths, then learn how to use them to be more effective.
