Lacrosseroads Logan Computers Class  recently built and donated two computers. One went to the YMCA Teen Center in LaCrosse and the other went to New Horizons Shelter and Women's Center.  The students researched the components for the builds and ordered the parts. Each student had an individual responsibility in building the computers.  Students were also involved with Rotarians and School Staff in the decision making process and donation of the computers.

The money to purchase the parts for the computers was donated by the former Rotary Club North. At the end of last school year, Rotary Club North awarded LaCrossroads with a generous monetary donation to be used for the betterment of the students.  In attempting to be responsible stewards of this generosity, the school decided to "spread the wealth" by passing on this generous spirit to quality community organizations during the holiday season.  LaCrossroads is maintaining this positive and productive relationship as it is now being sponsored by Valley View Rotary.

Valley View Rotary helps our students in numerous ways including sponsoring our student of the month and sponsoring our student graduation breakfast at the end of the school year. The computer donation project has proved to be so successful, that Valley View Rotary has agreed already to match the donated funds for next year.
